FAQ Related To Insulators
What features make the JDZW-10R voltage transformer suitable for operation in harsh environments, such as the Middle East, and how does it handle extreme UV and coastal conditions?
The JDZW-10R series outdoor voltage transformer is custom-designed to withstand the extreme conditions of the Middle East, such as intense UV radiation and coastal salt spray. UV-Resistant Epoxy Resin: We utilize a specialized UV-resistant epoxy resin casting technology. This effectively prevents surface embrittlement or cracking caused by prolonged exposure to high-intensity sunlight. Composite Silicone Rubber Sheds: The product features integrated silicone rubber sheds, which significantly increase the creepage distance. This ensures superior insulation performance and prevents surface tracking (leakage), even in heavy salt spray or high-humidity environments. High Ingress Protection (IP) Rating: With an IP55 certified sealing design, the transformer ensures that internal components remain completely protected from fine sand, dust, and condensation.
Given the compact space and high ambient temperatures of indoor switchgear in the Middle East, how do your voltage transformers prevent overheating during high-load operation?
Our indoor series (e.g., JDZ10) is designed to optimize both heat dissipation and space efficiency: Thermal Stability: Utilizing international-standard flame-retardant epoxy resin, these units maintain high performance in enclosed switchgear with restricted airflow. Space Optimization: The JDZC-6/10 and similar models feature an optimized core, resulting in a compact and lightweight profile perfect for Ring Main Units (RMU) and slim metering compartments. Superior Cool-Running: Thanks to premium silicon steel cores, the temperature rise at rated load is kept significantly below industry thresholds, effectively prolonging the equipment’s lifespan in harsh, high-heat environments.
