Indoor Disconnectors

It must absolutely NEVER be operated under load.  No Arc-Quenching: A disconnector is not equipped with an arc-quenching device. Attempting to open it while it is carrying a load will generate a severe electric arc, which can lead to catastrophic equipment destruction, serious injury, or death. Role in Safety Protocols: Its primary role is to provide a visible breaking point (physical gap) for safety during maintenance. In standard operating procedures, it follows a strict sequence: 1. To Power Down: First open the Circuit Breaker (to cut the current), then open the Disconnector. 2. 3. To Power Up: First close the Disconnector, then close the Circuit Breaker. 4. Visible Isolation: It ensures that maintenance personnel can visually confirm that the circuit is physically separated from the live power source, providing a secondary layer of protection beyond the internal contacts of a circuit breaker. 。
