The HY5WS-10/30 is a gapless metal-oxide surge arrester designed for 6kV power systems. It consists of series-connected zinc oxide varistors without any spark gaps, enclosed in a silicone rubber insulating housing. The arrester provides effective protection for electrical equipment against lightning overvoltages and switching surges.
