High-Current Series
This static contact is widely used in KYN28 (GZS1) and other high-current withdrawable switchgear as the fixed interface for the circuit breaker compartment. With a rated current of 3150A and a 109mm diameter, it is ideally suited for main incoming feeders, generator outlets, large-scale industrial complexes, data centers, and critical power infrastructure where maximum power handling capacity and minimal temperature rise are essential.
Surface: Silver-plated (Ag) for optimal contact reliability.
Applications: Widely used in Vacuum Circuit Breakers (VCBs), GIS, and medium-to-high voltage switchgears.
The Fixed Contact (Static Contact) is a critical stationary component within high-voltage switchgear, designed to interface seamlessly with the moving contacts (such as tulip contacts) of a vacuum circuit breaker. Machined from high-purity T2 copper, this contact ensures optimal current transfer with minimal resistive losses.
Designed for durability in fixed installations, it provides a stable termination point for busbar or cable connections. As a non-moving part, it offers inherent reliability and resistance to mechanical wear, ensuring long-term structural integrity within the contact box.
High Conductivity Material
Precision-machined from solid T2 copper, offering superior electrical and thermal conductivity compared to standard alloys.
Enhanced Silver-Plated Finish
Manufactured with a mature silver-plating electroplating process with increased plating thickness to prevent oxidation, reduce contact resistance, and ensure consistent product quality under high current stress.
Robust Design
Engineered to withstand extreme levels of short-circuit current and thermal stress without deformation or breakdown.
Secure Fit
Dimensional accuracy of 109mm diameter with a length of 107mm ensures secure installation and consistent alignment with the moving contact.
